Wales To Launch Euro 2020 Preparations Against Austria

Wales will kick-off their Euro 2020 preparations with a home friendly against Austria on Friday, 27 March next year. The FAW is yet to announce the venue for the game. It will be the first game for Ryan Giggs’s side as they begin the count-down to the Euro2020 games against Switzerland, Turkey and Italy next June.

It will be the first game for Ryan Giggs’s side as they begin the count-down to the Euro2020 games against Switzerland, Turkey and Italy next June.

Austria have also qualified for the finals which are being hosted across Europe and are in a group with Ukraine, Netherlands and a nation to be decided after the Nations League qualifiers in March.

Ben Woodburn’s strike gave Wales a 1-0 victory when they faced Austria in Cardiff during the 2018 World Cup qualifiers campaign.
