Marlon Pack says striker Kieffer Moore is not just a big lump – but still wants his Cardiff City team-mate to bash up opponents.
The £2million summer signing opened his Bluebirds account with a double in the 2-0 Championship victory at Nottingham Forest last weekend.
But midfielder Pack insists Moore has more to his game than just scoring goals – though would be quite happy to see him add to his tally against Reading on Saturday.
“Kieffer is not just a lump, he can play as well,” said Pack. “But we want him in that penalty box, bashing defenders up and making himself a problem.
“Kieffer was brought in to score goals. I have played against Kieffer numerous times and he has shown what a threat he is.
“Once he signed all the lads were pleased he was on board and on our team.
“Being home on Saturday, I’m sure he will want to get his first league goal here.
“It’s up to us now to give him the service he deserves. That’s our responsibility.”
City manager Neil Harris is delighted that Moore has eased some of the pressure on his shoulders with that brace at Forest.
And he is confident there is even more to come from the Wales international as City look to push for promotion.

“When you want to go somewhere so much, when you’ve got a price tag on your shoulders, whether it’s a few million or 50 quid, there is added pressure,” said Harris.
“You want to impress your fan base, of course, but your team-mates as well.
“It’s nice for the team to see Kieffer off the mark and it will be nice to see the other lads get off the mark. It takes the shackles off, which is vitally important.
“But I see areas I can work with him and areas I can improve him.
“I really noticed his qualities when he came into the national team and produced some very good football from the chest down.
“That’s what’s caught the eye with the staff, the link-up play and the tidiness.
“He has massively improved over the last few years on his first contacts.
“But most importantly from direct play, goal kicks and free-kicks, where he has developed his game.
“His all-round game has impressed all of us but he has very good players to compete with.”
