Zan Vipotnik has led the line admirably this term, scoring eight goals across all competitions for Alan Sheehan's side.
But the Slovenia international missed the contest with Charlton last weekend due to an injury to a quad muscle, paving the way for summer signing Adam Idah to lead the line against the Addicks.
It was just a second Championship start of the season for the Republic of Ireland international, although he justified the faith shown in him by Sheehan with what proved to be the equaliser in the 64th minute at The Valley.
In fact, for a player who has struggled to get the amount of minutes he would have hoped for so far, and with the weight of a £6m price tag on his shoulders, Idah showed a refreshing amount of confidence against Charlton.

His speculative effort early on was easily dealt with by Thomas Kaminski, but it showed the 24-year-old was intent on taking his chance to impress.
He spurned a better opening minutes before the break, and prior to bagging the second goal of the contest, Idah made a sweet connection with a volley from Eom Ji-sung's floated ball over the top, an effort that whizzed over the bar.
But the goal itself saw Idah take the sting out of Kaelan Casey's pass with his left foot before drilling a low strike in-off the post with his right boot from 20 yards out.
It was the former Celtic man's first goal from open play for the Swans and his second since joining the club.

"Vipi had an injury and it meant I got a chance to show myself, to prove myself," Idah told the club website after the game.
Despite losing his top goalscorer to injury, head coach Sheehan was relieved to have the services of Idah to call upon.
“Adam led the line well, tirelessly, he had a one-v-one in the first half and we got into really good areas," said Idah's compatriot.
"In the second half, he was a constant menace. He got his goal and potentially could have got one or two more but that's the way it is."
Swansea's struggles with creativity have been a hot topic of discussion among fans of late, and the exemplary finishing of Vipotnik so far has gone a long way to ensuring Sheehan's men are not looking nervously over their shoulders when it comes to the league standings.

Depending on the severity of the forward's injury, Idah may well need to be similarly prolific having been placed into the limelight at the weekend.
And unlike Vipotnik when he arrived in south Wales, Idah does have the huge benefit of having played at a higher level in England previously, with Norwich and with Celtic in the Champions League.
Still only 24 years of age, Idah has plenty of time to grow. Like Vipotnik, he may find goal-scoring chances easier to come by if Sheehan can give his new-look team the platform to conjure up more at the business end of the pitch than they have done so far this season.
He will hope to back-up his goal-scoring display at Charlton when Swansea take on Preston at Deepdale on Wednesday night, and then again when the Swans round off the current block of fixtures at home to Ipswich three days later.
