For what is unquestionably Wales' tastiest double header for some time, Craig Bellamy has had the rare luxury of having several key players coming back into his squad.
Leeds United duo Joe Rodon and Ethan Ampadu have both returned to the international fold for the upcoming fixtures with England and Belgium having missed the September camp through injury.
Forward Nathan Broadhead - scorer of key goals against Reading and Leicester for Wrexham of late - is also back involved while Coventry's Jay Dasilva is included again.
But the headline-grabbing act was the inclusion of Aaron Ramsey in Bellamy's 26-man squad.
The 34-year-old has not represented his country since featuring against both Turkey and Montenegro in Bellamy's first camp as national team boss just over a year ago.
Having been unavailable for new club Pumas UNAM's first five league fixtures of the campaign, Ramsey has now featured in six successive league matches for the Mexican side, scoring a dramatic 93rd minute winner against Atlas on his second outing for the club.
And Bellamy could not hide his excitement at the prospect of at long last being able to utilise Ramsey's talents again this month.
"He's fit. I haven't had that luxury with him," Bellamy said of the former Arsenal, Cardiff, Nottingham Forest, Nice, Juventus and Rangers man.
"When I look back at that first game (against Turkey) he was immense. He has the brain. That's never going to go.
"He's playing football and he's in condition to be able to play the way we want to play.
"Give me another Aaron Ramsey? Buy me one! There isn't. He's still there. He's not gone away.
"That ability, that doesn't go. He's been about for a while and he's still got football in his legs.
"He might even have more with this move, I don't know. We'll see. He's available. You cannot not look at him. It's impossible. We're always quick to try and retire people."
One blow is that Daniel James - despite being included in the initial squad - is unavailable.
The winger has picked up an ankle injury and his club have said he will be out for four to six weeks.

In addition to having a number of key figures back, Bellamy will also be buoyed by the form of players including Kieffer Moore and Broadhead - with both finding their goal scoring boots of late.
Rodon has been a huge figure in Leeds' impressive start to the Premier League campaign, with former striker Troy Deeney waxing lyrical about the centre-back - who he included in his team of the week last time out.
"He's at the heart of what Leeds do well," Deeney said of Rodon.
"He's physical, good on the ball, knows when to go, knows when to hold.
"I just think he had a really good all-round game in the draw with Bournemouth and it was a fantastic header as well. He was unlucky not to score two."
Others including Sorba Thomas, Neco Williams, David Brooks and Harry Wilson have been prominent figures for their respective clubs of late, so Bellamy will have far greater options to select from - a necessity given the quality of opposition his side are about to face.

There will undoubtedly be some level of squad rotation for the trip to Wembley to face neighbours England, but make no mistake, Bellamy will have every intention of competing and gaining a positive result against Thomas Tuchel's charges.
The England fixture also has a bearing on the World Cup play-off pot seeding.
Stats gurus We Global Football simply said: "Wales playing England in a friendly is a horrible idea. A loss could keep them out of pot one and really lower their chances to get to the World Cup."
That said, the World Cup qualifier with Belgium at Cardiff City Stadium four days later is without a shadow of a doubt the priority for the October camp, with anything but a victory over the Red Devils likely to spell the end of Wales' chances of topping their group and booking a direct ticket to next year's global showpiece in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Few will relish the next two fixtures more than head coach Bellamy, and with crunch time fast approaching, the boss will know his big guns must produce their very best if he is to achieve his dream of guiding his country to a major tournament.
